Mango and Her Best Friend

Paul's neighbor has a little puppy named Paige, and her and Mango have become the best of friends. We just let them go in the backyard and they roll and run around together for hours! It's so fun watching them! They bite each other a lot, which makes me nervous at times, but they never growl, yelp or get mad at each other, so I guess they are just having fun. Although, one day I had to stop the fun because poor Paige had a bloody mouth (could have lost a puppy tooth or was just playing too rough), another day Mango had a scratch on her nose after playing and a bloody scab in her ear. Although, none of this seems to phase them! I love watching them play! Today, however, an apple core got between the two, and they forgot they were friends for a moment and the real fighting started. I had to break them up and take Mango home for a time out haha! But, without apples, they are the best of friends!! Gosh, I feel like my little Mango is my child!! :)

Mango is a big bully and likes to flop right down on top of Paige

Weekend fun

After Paul moved into his new place with his buddy Josh (plus a couple other guys), Josh's girlfriend (my good friend too) came out too. So we all hung out together! Chelsea and I made the boys a steak dinner the first night and ate dinner on the floor at their place because they didn't have a table yet :) Another day Chelsea and I decided to tie dye some shirts for some fun, and then the rest of the time was spent just hanging out and enjoying each other's presence.

More Mango Fun

Baby Emily

My cousin Amber and her husband Greg had a baby girl, Emily, about 2 months ago and I finally got to meet her about 2 weeks ago!!!

Surprisingly, she was all smiles for me!

New Haircut!

So, I finally got brave enough to chop my hair off. I've wanted the Inverted bob for such a long time, and I fianlly did it! And, for the first time ever I actually like my hair cut....a lot!!

The Iron Chef

Have you ever eaten at the Iron Chef in Puyallup? Well, if you haven't, YOU SHOULD! It was soo much fun! The Chef was great! He joked around with us, threw food at us to catch in our mouths, and was just an all around fun entertainer!!! We had a great time!!

The start of the onion volcano :)

Fun with the Lil' Cousins!

This was from about a month or so ago it seems, but It's been so long since I updated this blog that I haven't posted these. My sister and I got to spend a day with our cousin Beth and her two adorable kids Aly and Blake. The kids and I became very entertained in the backseat of the car as we took pictures of each other :)

Aly took this herself :)

Shrek The Musical

Paul and I got to go to the Shrek Musical that Played at the 5th ave. in Seattle. Thank you Mom and Dad! The show was more than amazing! Better than anyone could have ever expected! We had a great time!!!

We got to watch some glass blowers! He was making a pumpkin :)

I Miss You Grandpa

For those of you who don't know, my amazing Grandpa Beaty (dad's dad) passed away on Sunday, Sept. 7th. Sadly, I haven't been home at all to mourn with my family. I am going to be going home soon tho, and can't wait to finally get a hug from my parents and give my wonderful Grandma a hug we both need. I just wanted to place a few pictures on here of Grandpa so that when times are tough I have a place to come to, to remember the happy moments. I miss you so much, Grandpa, but I am so happy you aren't sick anymore, and I know you are dancing with Grandma and Grandpa Laughlin (Mom's parents), Uncle Roger, Great Grandma Sweeney, and even "Rocco" and Rosie :) And, I'll always know that you are all watching over me. I LOVE YOU GRANDPA!
